RFK Jr responds to drama within Kennedy family, wife's discomfort after Trump endorsement
Fox News ^ | 8/25/24 | Anders Hagstrom

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. responded to criticism he has faced from his wife and other members of the Kennedy family on Sunday after endorsing former President Trump.

Kennedy faced questions about the family drama during an appearance on "Fox News Sunday" with host Shannon Bream. Bream referenced a letter from Kennedy's siblings condemning his endorsement on Friday.

"You know, my family is at the center of the Democratic Party. I have members of my family that are working for the Biden administration. Biden has a bust of my father behind him at the Oval Office, and he's been a family friend for many years," Kennedy said.

"My family is – I understand that they're troubled by my decisions. I love my family. I feel like we were raised in a milieu where we were encouraged to debate each other and debate ferociously and passionately about things and still love each other," he added. "They're free to take their positions on these issues. There are many, many members of my family working at my campaign and who are supporting me."

Didn’t see the interview.

But Shannon Bream is about as worthless as Tiny Brett Baier.

The FOCUS of ANY Kennedy interview should NOT have been the emotional, touchy feely stuff that appeals to air head blonds like Bream.

When Kennedy is interviewed, the FOCUS should be on what was a seismic shift for a name synonymous with the Democrat Party and to condemn it and switch over to the America First movement.

The touchy feely stuff should be saved for some program not pretending to be a “hard news interview” program.

The Kennedys do not have a great reputation regarding their relationships with the women.

It is just the truth.

That said, people do change. I get a kick out of how happy a guy like Dennis Quaid has become after his tranformation and God entering his life.

Life is a pathway and we can always take a new direction for good or bad I guess.

It is easy, but when they have grandchildren who are not allowed to visit or stay with you, it is painful. We got lectured for telling grandkids who were allowed to attend BLM riots in the St Floyd matter, to stay home. Their parents told them to “be careful”. My 14 YO “baby” stayed with us 2 years ago, and we discussed current events, and we heard about that too. From the Mom and her Sister and bro in law.

My head hurts now just thinking about it.

The media can’t help but focus on the negative. Just being honest and saying it like it is seems to be the way to shut them up.

Edward Kennedy, “Ted” was a frat brother for life. He lived in the manner of the pot smoking, free love, party down life he loved so much.

Well, he approached the Harris campaign too, but they didn’t respond. He went with the one that would take him.

“This is only the beginning. Wait till you see the next additions to President Trump’s Unity Government.”

Who do you think he is referring to?

The World War II greatest generation is spinning in graves at what the Democratic Party has done to America and the western world.

All this crap began with the Kennedy election. The Greatest Generation voted him in, then they voted Johnson in, Nixon was an outlier, then they gave us Carter.

We can't lay that on the boomers (yeah, the boomers were coming of voting age, but were still a small minority of voters even for the Carter election) or any other generation, they weren't old enough to vote.

Some members of that generation may be turning over in their graves, but the majority voted to bring us to where we are today. They are as much at fault as any other generation.

After Trump won in 2016, I went to a Harvard alumni event at the Harvard Club early the following year.

When I expressed my support for Trump, I got negative comments from my fellow alums.

But most of these came from Kennedy School of Government graduates. What do you expect?

Unfortunately, Kennedy School alums dominated the gathering.

Where were the Harvard College, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Law School, and Medical School alums? Would any of them be Trump supporters? Maybe, but they would have had the good sense to be silent about it.

Yes, and so would the self-creating RINOS and don’t forget the self-serving non-’patriots’ that are the NeoCons. All of them would condemn both the fiscal conservatism that stood up against the Fed Reserve (see: JFK’s greenbacks), and the international anti-Communism (see: Green Berets, Fort Bragg—yes FORT BRAGG).

There are ways around these a@@hole Social Democrat/Marxists and anti-Western Culturalist IslamoFascists. That way is to erode away from all of the Leftie/BernieBots and all of the Christie/DOJhomoglobos— Comey and Wray, and especially the embeds at the Seeing Eye Dogs who are meddling in our domestic elections and policy— every day. Direct their energies at countries other than Ukraine with kickbacks for buy in.

That’s true an excellent point but many like my parents became disaffected when the Democrats made a decided turn left and became Republican.

That generation never lost its conservative values. It did not forget the experiences of the great depression a four year war on two Fronts as FDR Democrats

my wife has said her experience with her family has been the same. that generation would be shocked to see the cultural degradation of today. The anti Americanism. the corrupt politicians that seek the wrong “hope and change”.

They may have been Democrats back then, but this isn’t their Democratic Party anymore and it’s not even close.

I’d guess other significant democrats turning toward a patriot agenda, setting aside where they differ with trump in order to save the USA… but it’s just a guess.
