"SpaceX should do a flyby and spray paint “Hotel California” on the space station."

Great one! While SpaceX launches countless rockets with successful first stage re-entry. I just can't help wonder where were all the Boeing and NASA engineers who never thought of it or could get the engineering right for their Space vehicles?

Boeing we can use for their commercial aircraft (if they stay in the air) and also their weapon systems. NASA CAN JUST SHUT DOWN (not sure who has authorization) and sell their equipment/software to SpaceX. Who would have thought a civilian would have the concept for first stage re-entry? I didn't, but then knew nothing of Musk other than Tesla, which I believe to be a boondoggle.

I wouldn't be surprised if Musk sold Tesla and put that money into his superior SpaceX program, or other advanced projects. Glad Musk and Trump are talking. One has the engineering foresight, the other has the financial and fundraising acumen. They are both conservatives and think what they could accomplish together.

Bad news is that the Boeing spacecraft is an absolute failure. The good news is that Boeing is modifying a 737 Max to rescue the crew.

Contingency planning is an artifact of the old white male hegemony.

I don’t see competent candidates signing up for future flights with Boeing.

There has been more than one resupply mission since the Starliner launch.

There are two USA-spec manned docking bays. One is occupied by the Starliner, the other by a Crew Dragon.

This is all publicly available information.

Did NASA play Hotel California in the space station before telling them they were staying until February?

Do they have to wear the same underwear and outfit everyday? I haven’t bothered researching how laundry is done in space yet, but it is one of those thoughts I just had.

Is there enough Tide detergent and dryer sheets?

I hope they have a second airlock to the outside. They are going to need resupply even if it is by space walk and line haul like ship to ship resupply.

I figured a Dragon capsule would do the trick

Dragon is incompatible with their suits - they need individually tailored Dragon suits - perhaps they will be able to send their measurements down to have suits brought up on a Soyuz.

Do they get extra pay for staying longer that their scheduled stay or is it like the military where it doesn’t matter what you are fighting or not?

55 years ago, we landed men on the moon 238,900 miles away and had the ability for them to walk on the moon and then return home soon after...

Circumstantial and factual evidence suggests NASA faked the moon landing in a studio.

The existing SpaceX and Soyez spacecraft are still at the station to serve as lifeboats

That’s the Dragon Cargo capsule - not man rated. Neither is the Soyuz. There are no crew seats.

"Boeing is one of the companies that colluded with Clinton to support the Chicoms and provide them with nuclear weapon related abilities and technology which also was to be proliferated."

I don't remember Boeing being involved. I remember Loral and Hughes providing the Chinese the corrections to their failed second stage? rockets. It was about as close to treason as you could get since China was considered an enemy at the time. But smiley lover-boy got away with it. Can't remember why. Think is had something to do with the Riady/Huang bundling of fundraising moneys.

Maybe for the same reason his bitch wife got off with having a secret server containing classified documents in her home bathroom. A CORRUPT CONGRESS!
