Republicans bashed Vice President Kamala Harris after her plane circled an extra 15 minutes so she could watch second gentleman Doug Emhoff’s speech.
Emhoff was one of the star speakers on the second night of the DNC, speaking ahead of former first lady Michelle Obama and former President Barack Obama. Harris was flying at the time of his speech, coming back from a campaign stop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. According to CNN, Air Force Two circled the airport for 15 extra minutes so she could watch her husband’s speech uninterrupted.

These commercial flights are on a tight schedule and I would expect that even the slightest disturbance or disruption of the smooth and regulated dance of inbound and outbound planes would have a ripple effect on dozens of flights.
As a poster noted earlier, it speaks to her character, or lack thereof.

Yeah. And not a business/Lear Jet, either. Last I checked, Air Force 2 was a modified 757...and many operators removed them from service due to high operating costs...probably fuel efficiency.
And not for just that one Boeing 757 the Pig was in. Every single plane that was delayed or re-routed was wasting fuel, not to mention the time of the passengers and crew.
