I am a rarity.
Although I totally disagree with his Leftist beliefs, I think his films are great and he is a genius.
I just saw 15 of his movies on dvd, all for the first time.
Many are great, seen objectively as I can see them.
Even as a former card carrying member of the International Al Jolson Society, watching Bamboozled and Malcolm X.
