A number of large-bladed "zombie" knives have been handed in to a Welsh police force before legislation makes them illegal to own.
North Wales Police shared an image of the knives, which were handed in to officers in Caernarfon, Gwynedd, for destruction.
From 23 September, it will be a criminal offence to possess zombie-style knives and machetes in the UK.
An official Home Office "surrender period" will be in place from 26 August to 23 September, during which time financial compensation will be given for each knife handed in.

Sounds to me like the zombies are already there.
I got mine from Sarco, I think, some years ago. It’s pretty beat up.
Those do look useful. I like the little hook on the back for small whippy stuff.
Or with a nail clipper.
Probably after the Duke of Buckingham was killed with a dagger in 1685. I believe the government banned the carrying of knives just after that.
Remember, the 9-11 hijackers used boxcutters to kill over 3000 people.
Several aircraft grounded were found to also have stashed boxcutters hidden on them.
Only if they’re painted black and have nails sticking out.
Interesting question. Maybe in context? Yes, in Yorkshire, No on Tottenham Court Road? But the law is perhaps not textured enough to address the nuance. Therefore, I’d bet No, not legal (but I would also enjoy the resulting arguments on both sides).
