Supporters of former President Donald Trump have reacted furiously to a recent announcement that he backs bringing 'a lot of' migrants into the country.
Trump, 78, made the remarks Thursday at a press conference in Bedminster, New Jersey, outside his Trump National Golf Club.
'Basically, we're going to drill, baby drill, get the energy prices down, almost immediately, we're going to close the border and get the bad ones out,' the Republican began. 'And we're gonna let a lot of people come in.'

I do agree with what you’ve said.
Yeah Trump is not a savage bloodthirsty communist. There is nothing more to be said. NJ is not on the table anyway. Too many Karens.
We need to limit the ability of Democrats to buy votes by middle-class tax caps in the federal constitution.
Fighting now in Congress to send middle-class income and property taxation cap constitutional amendments to the states would add the electors of several deep blue states to Trump’s total and make Congress turn deep red come November.
These reporters want to paint the Republicans as racist. To do so, they have to portray us as hating all immigrants, when in fact we only oppose ILLEGAL immigration.
See: Eisenhower. Precedence exists as does the Executive authority. The cost can be forced back on the countries of origin to offset.
I’m also for ending all immigration, and have been for decades.
That's why they have parents. To show them how to prepare. It's not their employer's job to instill that in them.
