Former White House adviser Kellyanne Conway joined the chorus of GOP strategists who want former President Donald Trump to change his tone on the campaign trail.
Conway told Fox Business anchor Larry Kudlow during an interview on Monday that her former boss needs to adapt his rhetoric to produce a “winning formula” against Vice President Kamala Harris.
“The winning formula for President Trump is very plain to see,” Conway proclaimed. “It’s fewer insults, more insights, and that policy contrast.”
The GOP strategist worked closely with Trump for three years before retiring from her role as counselor to the president in August 2020.
If President Trump would just contrast the policies, he’ll win!” Conway added. “Because he has a 2-to-1 advantage over Biden-Harris on the economy and inflation, on the border, on Israel and Hamas, on the key issues that are important to people.”

Conway isn’t the only GOP strategist worried that Trump’s stabs on Harris could detract from his presidential ambitions.
Republican pollster Frank Luntz is among others who have suggested Trump’s “persona” is hurting his campaign.
*** Conway was rumored to have had a fallout with Trump insiders after the former president picked Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) to be his running mate. Over a dozen MAGA insiders allegedly accused the former White House counselor of fueling negative press about Vance after the Ohio Republican was launched as Trump’s No. 2.
However, the ex-White House adviser planted herself firmly in the Trump camp during her interview with Kudlow. Deriding Harris for being “afraid” to speak to the media, Conway touted Trump’s 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and claimed the GOP leader had “the best opportunity” to win the 2024 presidential election.

“It’s fewer insults, more insights,…”
Is calling someone who lies “liar” an insult or an insight?
Is calling someone who is stupid “stupid” an insult or an insight?
Is calling someone who is scum “scum” an insult or an insight?
Is calling someone who is crooked “crooked” an insult or an insight?
I think President Trump has it just right.
I do wish at times he would tone it down a notch but just because he sometimes rambles with it. Stick to what he knows works, nicknames for sure. That said Trump can read a room. He’s better at this than I am so his call.
Insults are any unpleasant truths told about protected classes or democrats.
I have no idea who these women you speak of are-the ones who “don’t like the crappiness“-I’m not one and I don’t know any women like that here-they must be democrat and RINO women who run to their fainting couches every time they hear pres Trump say “bulls***”-or JD says “cat lady”. They are weak sisters who can’t handle free speech and blunt truth. I’m not interested in any more McCain/Romney women in the party-they won’t vote for DJT anyway...
I hope you choke on your pearls.
I would add another group.
4. The cowards. They don’t have the stomach for a street brawl. These are the folks than panic under fire in the battlefield and freak out during a rough and tumble political campaign.
FU. Go somewhere else troll!!
Name a better poll advisor
Its your campaign donations at work there for Trump
Economy...border...Iran...North Korea...stolen valor...neighborliness...the smell of burning tires...are winning issues. "She's as dumb as a rock" isn't...despite the fact that it's true.
They’re winners, lol.
Trump already has those votes.
they must be democrat and RINO women who run to their fainting couches every time they hear pres Trump say “bulls***”-or JD says “cat lady”.
He'll need more votes than from committed conservatives to overcome the fraud. If you don't care about pushing those away, are you working for Harris or just stupid?
Still, Trump should stick to his desire for an issue-oriented campaign and avoid the "mean tweet" behavior, just to show the voters that he has the discipline to stick to what he said.

I came to the same conclusion two weeks ago. Kamala is an idiot and Donald has a lot of quirks. If we make the election about personalities, we could lose. The only important things, IMHO, are the border and the economy.
I really believe that if DJT focusses like a laser on those two issues, he’ll win in a landslide.
Look in a mirror please!
A descriptor isn't an insult.
Like locusts, the deep-cover concern trolls have crawled up out the mud at election time.
See 135. Descriptors, not insults.
I like and respect Kellyanne.
You’re one of people on here that has been anti-Trump all along. Go vote for the ho if you can’t get behind our candidate.
There do not seem to be any low info people in rural areas who “need TV ads”-there is no cable out here-the electrical co-op provides excellent high speed internet-so even the least-tech inclined among us has at least one streaming service and picks what they watch-rallies, interviews and all. I haven’t talked to a customer or co-worker today who did not catch at least part of last night’s Musk/Trump conversation and was not all in for DJT. So I guess these low info voters must be in the big, blue cities. There are plenty of ads on TV and the streaming services-take a look...
