Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), the GOP vice presidential nominee, and ABC News anchor Jonathan Karl went back and forth over his past comments about “childless cat ladies,” as the Ohio Republican tried to clarify his previous suggestion that parents who have children should have more power than adults who do not have children.
Vance has faced repeated backlash for 2021 remarks during which he told then-Fox News host Tucker Carlson that the country was being run by “a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made, and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too

I watched the entire interview. He did very well with Dana Bash and put her on the defensive.
To paraphrase:
You have me for 15 minutes. You have had Harris for zero and you want to ask about a sarcastic comment I made three years ago. What about Harris position on funding and then defunding the police, telling us Biden was competent, etc.

Did Jonathan Karl ever challenge Obama on his “clinging to guns and religion” comment? Did he challenge Hillary about her “deplorables” comment? Did he challenge Biden about his 70 million “semi-fascists” comment? Of course not, because Jonathan Karl is a coward and a partisan shill.

There are also some of us OLD MEN who have cats and puppy dogs. Little kitties I raised abandoned. Fed with an eye dropper, massaged it’s butt to make it poop. Then there are other cats in my barn.

Sometimes very deep truths are revealed in sarcastic remarks.
The more biting the sarcasm, the closer to the bone it cuts.
“Childless cat ladies” is a description that fits the very kind of unloving and unloved females (and some males) who exert stern autocratic practices on underlings and those of whom are placed under their authority.
Like “Que mala” Harris who ripped most dreadfully on her own staff, with a huge turnover rate, and little continuity.

He did touch a nerve. I can attest that there are tons of childless cat ladies wondering where have all the men gone in their latter years, usually living in urban areas. They are all on boxed wine and SSRIs, and not very happy.
The subject being discussed is not dogs and cats, but rather how the fake news is trying to smear JD Vance, and how he is handling it.
