Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that the Trump administration will start mass deportations with a million people.
Anchor Jonathan Karl said, “One of the proposals in the platform you’ve talked about, and Trump has talked about, is a mass deportation. You said he said he’ll start with the easy ones, the criminals, people who commit crimes, deport them, but he said deporting 15 million to 20 million people, how do you actually do that?

That's a good idea, but it's not enough. Biden/Harris have been giving out work permits to all the millions of Central Americans who show up at the border. When they show up at the border, they are given "asylum seeker" status, a notice to appear before an immigration judge in a decade or so, loads of freebie stuff, and after 150 days they can get "temporary" work permits. A lot of the freebies are state run programs (usually with federal dollars) so it will be difficult for a new president to shut those down without congressional action. We need Trump to appoint thousands of immigration judges and establish clear rules that require substantive and substantial evidence of actual asylum needs, not just vague claims, and clear backlog of cases that have purposely been created to keep them in the country until they are so embedded they are even more difficult to remove.

Ah, yes, take the honest business owner who only hires American workers and conducts his business above board, and cut his legs out from under him by giving his unscrupulous competitors carte blanche in their hiring practices without consequences.
You sound like the type who would happily have his roofing, drywall and yard work by illegals if it cost less than hiring Americans. Not you’re job to screen them, right?

Ah, yes. Point completely missed...again. *facepalm*
There isn’t existing avenues to report any such illegality in your hypothetical? *rolls eyes*
Oh, does it take a U.S. Citizen to edge a yard ‘properly’? Lay some mud on a wall?? Hey, {X} wants to hire {Y} w/o the license/insurance+, that sounds like a possible problem for {X}...nobody else.
Course, I’ve worked with (& hired, unfortately) grab-n-dash Americans, more interested in the $$ than quality, cost, etc. *shrug*
