There’s a reason He used about 2,000 in the Old and New Covenants.

About 2,000 years of the Kingdom was all Satan’s Legion would get this side of the Kingdom.

That about 2,000 years are almost up.. Lawlessness, disorder and just us has an end. It doesn’t continue forever.

It’d be fascinating if America got to see a little law, order and justice as a sign that the Church is due for theirs..

So you think we are just reaching the end of the time of Gentiles? If you do, then you must believe Christ will soon return? Which leads me to ask you are a dispensationalist?

I see the end times a little different, but I see the New Covenant just a little different than most, too.
I do not expect another 1,000 years like these last 2,000, but I admit that some of the scripture and even parables, could say that there is due another 1,000 years like these 2,000.

But for the sake of the elect, on a macro level, that 3,000 would need to be cut to 2,000.

The Old Covenant Israel has a lot to say about what was going to happen to the New Covenant Church, and the New Covenant Church may not have made all the connections yet..

One quick example:
Er and Onan
Zerah and Peres

The Church,the Priesthood of the root of Judah, was always going to experience Er and Onan and Zerah and Peres in their journey..
Not a ton of positives to pull from those stories in relation to the current Church Age, but it does mean that the Breach/Peres is fully born before Light/Zerah is due to return and be fully born...

If Shelah was killed along with Er and Onan, it’d be fair to say the Church Age is 3 segments/3,000 years and it will continue for another 1,000.

Shelah being spared gives hope that the Breach is only 2,000 years in the Priesthood of Judah aka the Church..

But it’s not exactly another endorsement that this Church Age has been a period of Light, but a Breach between the Light.
Or Darkness..

Of course, on macro levels...

But it’s what most would call weird...
