It’s the communist playbook. And when conservatives fight back, they are “extremists”.

One day honest historians will record that Israel’s current suffering and vulnerability is the result of the politicization of its security and intelligence services. As in the US where anti Trump globalists have permeated and hurt American intelligence services, the anti Netanyahu politicos have done the same in Israel. The monumental intelligence and security failures resulted in the October 7 debacle, over 1,100 Israelis killed then and in subsequent combat, thousands more maimed physically and psychologically and the vulnerability yet remains. Someone , one day will explain just how Mossad failed to detect the flow of arms and missiles from Iran through Egypt and the intent of Hamas.

Winning a war requires a disproportionate response.

"Winning a war requires a disproportionate response."

Agreed. We could have fought the Nazi's tank for tank but sending a thousand bombers to level cities was a much better plan.

Palestinians are like the little boy who claims the other boy started the fight when he hit him back.

There will be no peace until HAMAS is eradicated.

Correction, there will be no peace until all of the ME is eradicated and only Israel is left. That is what they really want.

Do you actually believe that was a Mossad failure or was it on purpose. Lots of questions that have not been answered on this security failure.

Israel wins when it eliminates the enemy attackers fast.
wins the fighting and wins “international community” support or at least acquiescence

Israel loses when it lets any foreign power needlessly drag the fighting out (Like Biden/Blanken supporting, financing, and protecting the Fakestinian Occupation and Terrorist Nest called gaza)

obeying Biden was the worst strategic decision Jerusalem has made in our lifetimes (other horrible dangerous strategic decisions: giving away Sinai, giving away Gaza, allowing the enemy terrorist missile infestation and buildup in Lebanon, and continuing the enemy Occupation of Samaria/Judea)

all of the above mistakes Israel could have avoided, but didn’t

same now for Iran’s nuclear arsenal

And STUDENTS of 'history' will have likely read: Joshua chapter 9.

Hezbollah and Iran have vowed to attack population centers to kill as many civilians as possible. Israel needs to treat Gaza exactly the same way and ignore the fallout. Yielding to international pressure will end Israel, and that is not an accident.

There is no question Mossad failed. The major question in Israel is why did it fail? It would be incredible to beleive that Iran was able to ship missiles, arms into Gaza via Egypt through tunnels wide enough for trucks without Mossad detecting and even knowing Hamas intent. Was the failure the result of anti Netanyahu politicos and ideologues within Mossad that wanted to embarass Netanyahu but grossly underestimated the consequenes of their malfeance? One day the truth will be told.

I think it wise for Israel to take out the top leadership of HAMAS one by one.

Hopefully, in time, and after some funerals, a few surviving HAMAS leaders will realize the vital importance of hostage release.

“There will be no peace until HAMAS is eradicated.”

HAMAS will not be eradicated. However, the top leaders at any point in time can over time be eliminated. After quite a number of funerals, some restraint will probably set in and trickle down.

Not just Isreal, every western response to any aggression is called an escalation, but the acts of the initial aggressor are not called an escalation. It defines the western media has treasonous.
