So by your way of thinking, he should just do nothing, and continue in his RINO ways? Or, perhaps this may be a first step in turning the corner. Regardless, an intelligent action or comment should be just that.
Using Bill Maher as an example, he does occasionally get it right. Does that mean that his comments have no merit because he's an idiot on many other things? When a broken clock is right ..it's still the correct time whether someone likes it or not.

Some governors may not have that power in their state constitutions.
Legislatures are the primary culprit in almost all these situations. Most have been in office way way too long and most of the electorate are too disinterested in their state legislatures to care. Everything begins at the grassroots we’ve been bamboozled by TV & media in general into thinking it’s all Washington. It isn’t! People used to be far more interested in the goings on in their state capitals then they are now.
Both of those have become BS terms that convey no meaning other than that the person using them is incapable of independent thinking.

If he did it 12 months ago, it would have already been thrown out by some liberal judge that was shopped by some left wing “free the vote” organization....under the guise of being racist.
