A group of 18 House Republicans asked House Speaker Mike Johnson to not pursue a wholesale repeal of subsidies contained in President Joe Biden’s signature climate law on Wednesday.
The lawmakers wrote to Johnson to urge him to not repeal energy sector-wide tax credits from the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), especially those that have already spurred ongoing development across the country. The IRA became law in 2022 without a single Republican vote, and while the lawmakers said they believe the law is “deeply flawed”….

jen kiggans, that bitch never disappoints. Deep State, War Pig, Assistant Democrat.
The Ba$tards are all in on the take…
They’re not on the take, they’re democrats that ran as republicans
Ignore them Mr speaker.
I pray the other 200+ GOP House members tell Johnson exactly the opposite!!
The tax code is 6,900 pages. Accompanying IRS regulations run the total up to 75,000. I doubt anybody breathing air today has carefully read every page of the code and it’s related IRS regulations. According to Google, that would take a good reader 14 weeks to read.
This IRA legislation is a fraud on it’s face and is just another give away by the Fed legislature so as to buy some votes for politicians. At 37 Trillion, we can’t afford it.
Don Bacon just lost his election.
Johnson always caves to Jeffries anyway, what’s one more time.
they’re with Hillary!
6 Aug: ClimateDepot: Eco-Terrorism funded by Hillary: UK Telegraph: Hillary Clinton-run group funds Just Stop Oil & Extinction Rebellion with $500,000 – Climate groups funded to vandalize Stonehenge, Van Gogh paintings, & disrupt traffic
UK Telegraph: A group founded by Mrs Clinton from the ashes of her failed presidential bid has donated $500,000 (£391,500) in the last three years to the protest group’s California-based financiers. Just Stop Oil’s largest financial backer is a controversial Californian non-profit, the Climate Emergency Fund (CEF), which pays for stunts by environmental groups across the world, including Extinction Rebellion.
A paper trail of transparency disclosures, seen by The Telegraph, shows that one of the CEF’s major supporters is Onward Together, a campaign organisation founded by Mrs Clinton in the aftermath of her 2016 presidential campaign against Donald Trump...
Mrs. Clinton’s support for the group, and indirectly for the protests of Just Stop Oil, is likely to come as a surprise to her own donors, who are told only that Onward Together is “committed to lifting up emerging organizations and leaders who are fighting for our shared progressive values and defending our democracy”...

..... This is why I think it will be very difficult for Trump to win the Election ..... The Republican party is too disjointed and dysfunctional to galvanize together to work as a team to all vote for our nomminee to overcome the voter fraud from the left .... It's not going to be an easy race .....

They know this behemoth legislation has a thousand tentacles.
So, they’re really saying don’t repeal it, leave it stand. Save Joe - and our deals.
The Ba$tards are all in on the take…
Yep.
They can’t have their looting disrupted.
Save our pork and kickbacks! Call it what it is. Corrupt to the marrow.
Well said. Well said.
We cannot afford it, especially as the fundamental premise of
“green energy” is dead wrong in the context of the way it is being pursued.

And then there's the case law.
Just like with the Obozo’s Affordable Care Act, when the Republicans had the opportunity to get rid of it, they instead saved it.
