From Paul Sperry
DEVELOPING: Kamala VP pick Tim Walz traveled to Communist China every year from 1996 until at least 2003, after receiving special work visa from the Chinese government, and later honeymooned in China, continuing his infatuation with the Communist dictatorship ...
How much did he weigh?
Not even close. This guy did 24 years and chose to retire. As long as you have 20 years and a day, you can request to retire. Do you not think hundreds if not thousands retired during the 20 year war? I think stolen valor means bragging he went to Iraq when he didn’t. He never did. This is not going to work.
Walz taught in China’s Guangdong province in 1989.
Wow! MSN posted this?

People don’t imagine that someone can duck into a cushy position and bail when the demands come in?
Particularly in a senior position Particularly in a senior enlisted position.
In the words of the most infamous person to ever serve in the cushiest senior scam, JB, ‘Come on man’.
So he’s another John Kerry. Hope he’ll be swiftboated.
The 60-year-old served 24 years in the Army National Guard, where he reached the rank of command sergeant major.

According to Wikipedia (before it is washed) he did not finish the CSM Academy and so when he retired he was dropped by to his previous rank.
Calling this “stolen valor” is overstated.
He didn’t claim to be anything or to have done anything that was not true.
He simply retired to run for congress at the same time as he was in sergeant major academy. That also coincided with his unit receiving Iraq deployment orders.
Since he won the congressional seat, it wasn’t just a fancy on his part.
Was it cowardly to leave his unit that went to Iraq? Folks will probably decide that based on their political leanings.
I’m waiting for more info. The victorious run for a congressional seat says that opportunity is probably what generated the retirement decision.
He retired after making Master Sargent most guys who spend 24 years in the National Guard make Major or Colonel.
He needs to be swift boated.
Hertling should have looked into Walz’ career before speaking.
Pretty rookie move for a 3-star General Officer.
I don’t believe Walz is loyal to the people he pretends to represent.
