The Truth About Tim Walz
West Central Tribune ^ | 11/2/18 | Command Sergeants Major of the Minnesota National Guard

Posted on 08/06/2024 7:22:14 AM PDT by hardspunned

Tim Walz has embellished and selectively omitted facts and circumstances of his military career for years.

We, retired Command Sergeants Major of the Minnesota National Guard, feel it is our duty and responsibility to bring forth the truth as we know it concerning his service record. So, we have put together a timeline of his service post 9/11. To the best of our knowledge, this information is completely true, having been verified by all those who served in positions with first hand knowledge of the facts and circumstances of his service and departure from the Minnesota National Guard. Many of the dates and time frames are from his official discharge document and the reduction order reducing him to Master Sergeant.

All I can say is that the Dems must have the mega-cheat machine greased and in order to make such horrible decisions of late. In other words, none of this matters.

Final paragraph at the original post:

The bottom line in all of this is gut wrenching and sad to explain. When the nation called, he quit. He failed to complete the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy. He failed to serve for two years following completion of the academy, which he dropped out of. He failed to serve two years after the conditional promotion to Command Sergeant Major. He failed to fulfill the full six years of the enlistment he signed on September 18th, 2001. He failed his country. He failed his state. He failed the Minnesota Army National Guard, the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion, and his fellow Soldiers. And he failed to lead by example. Shameful.
He failed.

As governor, he continued to fail his State.

Leftist scumbag ...

Back when I was a GWB supporting neocon stooge, I did a guerrilla political protest at Union Station in Cincinnati against Kerry. I leveraged my Teamsters union card to get within 30’ of Kerry. Mid speech, I began heckling Kerry about his military service. I was manhandled by three sheet metal worker members before the cops saved me. I made a decent splash locally in the news and got his despicable Vietnam record into the articles. I have the same name as one of the Swift Boat guys. The Kerry campaign released a statement condemning me and identifying me as the Swift Boat member. Great fun!

Imagine being asked to that perpetual dumpster fire. Yikes. Valerie Jarrett and the entire State Department and DOJ being your boss?

IMO, the worst “stolen valor” creeps are those who embellish an otherwise honorable period of military service. Not only are they claiming accomplishments and honors they did not earn, they’re denigrating what they actually did.

The 100% pure civilian “stolen valor” creeps are pathetic more than anything else.

Yes.

“Tim Walz denied he was drunk on the campaign trail at the time of his DUI.

But once upon a time, the eventual Minnesota Democratic leader was pulled over for clocking an eyebrow-raising 96 miles per hour in a zone where the speed limit was 55, as reported by the Alpha News.

A police report stated, “A strong odor of alcoholic beverage was detected emitting from Mr. Walz‘s breath and person.”

He also failed a field sobriety and breath test, eventually registering a blood alcohol level of .128.”

This is not meant as an attack on either of you. I simply feel very strongly about this.

The media portrayed Admiral Stockdale that specific way for their agenda. It was shameful that they did so.

The Admiral was asking a rhetorical question aloud, and given his classical training, that was not surprising. The media chose deliberately to take that perfectly valid rhetorical question out of its appropriate context, and use it as a weapon to hammer him as senile, old, and tired.

He may have been old and tired, and who wouldn’t have been, having borne the depredations and abuses of the North Vietnamese as the second senior ranking POW behind Robbie Reisner (both of whom received special and terrible torture from the Communists) but Stockade was never mentally incapacitated or senile. That is a Leftist lie, used by Leftists, to slander for craven political gain, a Medal of Honor recipient and completely honorable man.

It is well to keep in mind that this kind of thing is the stock and trade of the Left.

I don’t have a problem with people taking issue with Perot’s candidacy, although having a second Bush Presidency would have had issues of its own that make it less clear Bush was preferable in many, though not all respects to Clinton. But I do have a problem with the treatment of an honorable man, Admiral Stockdale, as a senile dunce. He didn’t want to be part of it, but viewed it, as the honorable man he was, as a call to service, and as he did his whole life, he answered that call, even against his personal reservations.

Quitting the military probably kept him out of a skirt.

JD will have fun with this dirtbag shirker. In the MC we had names for quitters. Those that deserted their post were called strikers. They couldn’t take it, gave up, quit, and walked away from their commitment to serve their country. Some went home on leave and then didn’t have the guts to return to duty. They were declared AWOL and after 30 days of AWOL were declared a deserter. Eventually, the MC caught up with these scumbags who live today with their dishonorable discharge.

“I bet there were NO women willing to be her Veep!”

I could imagine Hillary offering to take the job, and then “DO the job”. Accidents had a way of happening to people around Hilary.

Just read that Ilan Omar is thrilled with the Walz pick, which tells us all we need to know.

"...GWB supporting neocon stooge..."

You don't need to frame yourself that way. That was simply the best choice at the time. I don't regret pulling the lever for either GHWB or GWB. Because in the context of the time, it was that or something a lot worse.

We can regret what both of those men turned out to be, especially GWB with his open borders attitudes, but at the time, it was Clinton, Gore, or Kerry, and without the Bushes who, at best to many, may have been nothing more than Sea Anchors with some drag, we might be even further down a despicable road than we are today.

Just my opinion, FRiend.

Absolutely. I forced myself to read “Rules for Radicals“ and it was one of the most disgusting books I’ve had ever read I dictate audiobooks, so I was going to dictate that to distribute to acquaintances, so they could listen to it and not have to read it, but… I simply could not read it aloud. My disgust was entirely perceptible in my voice, and I couldn’t find a way to get around it. (I had to wait almost a year to get it from the library back in 2008 because it was in high demand, and there was no way I was going to spend a single cent to buy that book)

One of the most transformative books I ever read (politically speaking) was Whitaker Chambers book “Witness”.

The tactics of the left in that timeframe between 1945 and 1954 are the same ones they practice today. The technology may be different, but the use weapons is exactly the same.

When I could see what was going on in our modern world and compared to that, it filled me with revulsion for the Left.
