“We caught a break” is a puzzling and reductive take. I think Walz is a smart pick and will give Trump a run for his money on the older white midwestern vote. Plus this locks up MN and MI for the Dems.

The only way Trump can lose, besides the Rat cheat, is his own lack of focus on the prize. His going off script to pick GOP fights like against the Pub governor of Georgia or making it personal with Harris calling her “low IQ” could turn off many independent and woman voters. I sure wish we could have the policy without the personality. However, to some extent, we are fortunate that this is tempered by the selection of JD Vance as his VP pick. I sure hope it’s enough.
