Yes women are more likely to think and act like shes old and past it whatever when shes 60 than a man will...

Men are still active and younger thinking at age 60...

More likely to participate in sports and playing with grandchildren than a woman will...

Women are more likely to sit back and act like their own grandmothers did...

Even though theyre not physically disabled...

Im speaking from my own experience...

Friends that were active and socially active when we were younger would tell me they consider themselves too old now to do this or that...

Mow their own lawn Oh no theyre too old now (though I still mow mine at age 75)

Play ball outside with their grandkids Oh no granddad will do that Lets sit inside...

Go to the movies Oh no thats why we have Netflix now

Go to the zoo Too far to walk Too hot Too old

Go to the Space Center in Huntsville Too far even though Im driving

and the You shouldnt be doing that at your age criticism ...

etc

This is why I have a lot of younger friends now...

Im finding more and more that Im the exception...

If youre going to think old you’ll be old before your time...

and women tend to do so more than men...

Well the dew is off the grass, and it needs mowing (with a gas-powered push mower)

I guess I don’t have that mindset (of being old, at whatever age), but I do know many women who do as you say. It’s funny though, because I hang out with women who are older than me, some much older than me, and they are still quite active. The oldest just turned 84, had a knee replacement in May, and was out using her gas powered push mower a week later. So that’s likely my frame of reference. Though, you’re right about a lot of women who are in their 60’s. Many of them do act as though they’re “too old” to do things.

I’m 63, but I concur in your thinking. My wife just turned 50, but she had a back injury a couple years ago and acts much older when it comes to anything physical (and that’s after a successful operation to fix her injuries). I’m the only guy in my south Texas neighborhood with a Jewish gardener. 😂

This guy Walz is a choice that won’t do anything for the Dems - to me, it signifies one of two things: either they’ve given up on winning the WH, or they’re waiting for some really bad poll numbers in order to slip in another ticket with Big Mike or The Witch of Chappaqua.
