Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance is calling out Vice President Kamala Harris for her silence on Monday after major U.S. stock indexes saw sharp falloffs.
“This moment could set off a real economic calamity around the globe. It requires steady leadership–the kind President Trump delivered for four years,” Vance wrote in a post on x. “Kamala Harris is too afraid to answer media questions and cannot lead us in these troubled times.”

They sent her into hiding inside the Situation Room over the Iran crisis. Wonder how many days she will be kept there. I don’t know what they were worried about. It’s not like the enemymedia is going to question her about the economy.

I admit to not watching CNN/CBS, etc on a regular basis - but I’ve seen enough to know that the MSM is not asking her any hardball questions or asking why she won’t hold a press conference.

Her being in the Situation Room is not too reassuring either. I’m hoping that someone there more or less told her to sit over in the corner and give her some sitrep reports to read and tell her that they’ll get back to her.

She’s hiding in her basement, fearful of being asked a question she dare not answer: “What is your position on whether biological men should be allowed to compete in women’s sports?”
The only thing she knows about economic downturns is opportunities for riots. She doesn’t have solutions to correct them.

The Nikkei was down over 12% while the DOW is only down ~2%. To claim that this is due to Harris is plain stupid.
