Unfortunately, some 'spin out tornadoes' were spawned from Debby's feeder bands last night. Thankfully most dissipated. But Edisto Beach did get hit by some sort of tornado around 3:00 am this morning:

Tropical Storm Debby spawned a tornado in Edisto Beach, SC

The meteorologists on our local NBC affiliate (WSAV) out of Savannah were following these 'spinout tornadoes' all night / early AM. It was fascinating, yet terrifying to watch. A few were heading sort of in our direction, but fizzled out. We'll probably be under Tornado Watch again tonight though. :-(

Most of those tornadoes are F0 on the Fujita Scale, and very short-lived as you noted. Still, it doesn’t allow for much sleep when those twisters are popping off one after another, along with the weather alert sirens.
