Most of those tornadoes are F0 on the Fujita Scale, and very short-lived as you noted. Still, it doesn’t allow for much sleep when those twisters are popping off one after another, along with the weather alert sirens.

Yes, I'm learning that. By weather alert sirens, do you mean those coming from a town, or the alerts sent out to our phones? No 'weather horns' here (that I know of), but I got that loud, blaring (scary) alert on my phone at least two times over the past several days. Mainly warning us about flash flooding and not to drive on flooded roads.

Hubby did not get that loud alarm on his new iPhone, not sure why.

Good to know those are F0. I've seen several F1 tornadoes do a fair amount of damage in Connecticut and western Massachusetts though.
