Yep, same can be said for the US. Any civil wars will be the end of our representative forms of government. What would replace them would be something far worse, with the same people (or their designates) in charge of it all, while we fight to the death simply for food in the streets.

After the Civil War, the entire South was under marital law for twelve years. Historians deemed it justified due to regional sin of rebellion.
Martial law is always justified by a tyrannous government.
and in the meantime, eliminate some (or many) of those white people who are now pissed off and cracking heads in the UK.
