This episode is an important lesson for those who are single-issue voters, for whom, even a slight deviation from their pet issue is a deal breaker.
Elections are not about choosing the ideal candidate but the best among the available candidates.
Now if there were several political parties in the U.S. and each had nominated a candidate who had a strong chance of victory, such a stance would make sense.
But currently, there are only two candidates who have a chance of winning.
There's President Trump and there is the world salad chef who was recently installed as the nominee of her party following an interparty coup.

Yeah, that’s the top 2 single-issue groups of people. The odd thing is that, no matter the single-issue, they’ll never find their perfect candidate running for president - especially when the go hunting with a microscope for any perceived deviation/blasphemy.
i.e. with perfection not to be found, the single-issue people are actually irrelevant from the git-go and should be written off as such from that same git-go.

What is a “world salad chef?” I didn’t read beyond the typo in paragraph 5 of the article. I assume they meant “word salad chef.”
If you are under 25 years old, your brain is not settled. We don’t have strict upbringings anymore, where word and responsibilties are pushed and formed.
People are just lazy and ignorant. That is a wicked combination. In a better USA, I would say he needs to join the Marines.
There are certain things that are deal breakers, but most things that are not. Trump is not a gun grabber, and is not pro-abortion.

I had no idea she was “pro-choice”, but I do admire that she is a very strong Trump supporter who actually fought back when the AZ governor's election turned into fraudulent fiasco.
I like most chose not to participate because I was incensed at those who will kill and eat our own when it comes to political allies over very specific litmus tests.
As it turns out Kari Lake has correctly called abortion a sin... and has supported abortion bans in the past, but has softened her position. This is obviously for political expedience. She will likely never be able to make much of a difference if she does not get elected in the first place. I am sure that she crafted her latest position with winning the election in mind.
There are 36,000,000,000,000 reasons ($) by the end of the year to not vote for the word salad communist.
