We met Pat Boone at a concert here in TN about 10 years ago. He spoke more than he sang, but when he did sing he sounded fine. Told some good stories.
I always admired him for writing the lyrics to “The Exodus”.

I was surprised when I saw that he had recorded a new song about our country. Â He's older (90) than the Rolling Stones!
In one of the comments on youtube under his video, someone said something about how they were going to pull out their old white shoes!  🙂
