McConnell compares Biden Supreme Court reforms to Jan. 6

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) in an interview with Punchbowl News compared President Biden’s proposed Supreme Court reforms to the Jan. 6, 2021 attacks on the U.S. Capitol.

“That’s what some people were trying to do Jan. 6 — to break the system of handing an administration from one to the next,” McConnell said in the interview, referring to the proposed reforms. “We can have our arguments, but we ought to not try to break the rules.”

The reforms that Biden has backed include 18-year term limits, which would allow a president to appoint a new justice every two years, alongside a binding code of conduct.

McConnell said earlier this week that the term limits will end up “dead on arrival” in the legislative branch.

Stopping vote fraud and thwarting rigged elections is the way “to break the system of handing an administration from one to the next.”

“18-year term limits, which would allow a president to appoint a new justice every two years”

So what happens in a Merrick Garland like case where an opposite party that controls the Senate refuses to confirm a President’s nominee?

Democrats are power hungry. The only entity that they don’t control is the Supreme Court.

And they will lie, cheat, and steal to get what they want. Remember the end justifies the means is their mantra.

Turd in the punchbowl. Stfu about 1/6 unless you are lobbying to get real political prisoners freed.

Nice try from Mitch the Chinese Bitch.

Jan 6 was a peaceful and legal protest against the perceived communist coup that was underway.
The perps are still in the White House.
BTW, it could have been stopped with one statement from McConnell. If he had stood up against the coup, it would have collapsed overnight. It succeeded with his tacit approval.

Biden’s SCOTUS reforms are an illegal power grab by liberal crybabies who lost one of their levers of power and want it back.

It should be called the “SORE LOSER AMENDMENT”.

Mitch has it wrong, they’re not even close.
Not in the legal sense, or the cultural sense.
As usual, the treasonous, prototypical globalist misses the point.

Jan. 6 was a modest protest cast by the mainstream media and demscum as an insurrection full with completely unfair prosecutions by the Deep State scum. Some idiots such as Mitch buy into the media narrative.

What Biden wants to do is a full-on subversion of our nation.

Get the difference Mitch, you moron?

And stupid to continue to feed the 1/6 fairy tale. . And when I’m king, anyone who uses that oh so tired “dead on arrival” cliche will be slapped silly by trained slappers
