Illegal Jordanian migrants who ‘tried to breach’ Quantico base allowed to walk free after posting bail
NY Post ^ | 08/01/2024 | Jennie Taer

Posted on 08/01/2024 7:07:53 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

The two illegal Jordanian migrants who are charged with trying to breach Marine Corps Base Quantico in May posted thousands of dollars in bail and were allowed to leave federal custody, The Post can exclusively reveal.

Hasan Yousef Hamdan, 32, and Mohammad Khair Dabous, 28, were released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention despite their immigration status — Hamdan had crossed into the country illegally in April and Dabous had overstayed his student visa and is subject to removal proceedings, law enforcement sources told The Post.

They were arrested on May 3 for trespassing onto the military installation and handed over to ICE officers because of their immigration statuses.

It’s still unknown why the men allegedly tried to get onto the base.

Ok, before you all get tied up into knots...

Apparently this a local secret. You all know that Quantico, Va is a small town on the Potomac surrounded by that Marine Base? You have to get past the gate and go on to the base to get to the civilian town via Fuller Road. Maybe they just wanted to go eat at Poco Loco Burritos and Bowls. The townspeople are not Marines.

I have badges that can get me onto the Base easily so I don't know what the Base security procedures are if someone just wants to go to the town but I imagine it can't be too restrictive.

The illegals probably weren't going for tacos but the point is, there's long been a Base security issue because of that town, don't just blame the officials dealing with this particular incident. I wouldn't doubt if this is just something the DoD doesn't want to talk about.

Message: The NY Post reported two illegal Jordanians were let go after being charged with trying to breach Marine Corps Base Quantico in May. Hasan Yousef Hamdan, 32, and Mohammad Khair Dabous, 28, were released from Biden’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention despite their illegal status —
<><>Hamdan had crossed into the country illegally in April
<><>Dabous overstayed his student visa and is subject to removal proceedings.

They were arrested on May 3 for trespassing onto the military installation and handed over to Biden’s ICE officers because of their immigration statuses.

The sub rosa military agenda is frighteningly clear as to why illegals want to get onto the US base.

jeffc :” NY Post: tell us where they got the “thousands of dollars” for bail, please! “

Exactly true !.. Where did they get the money for bail ? That will tell you who soldiered them into the country !
One was only in the country for less than two months
The other was here on an overstayed student visa
Follow the money !
We're getting used to the DHS corruption of the border by the biden/ Harris administration
Is this the same agency that says :" No one is above the law " ? Then execute the law as proscribed by the law !

At the time Biden appointed her his “border czar” (a Jill-inspired scheme to sabotage
her by making her responsible for the border atrocity), Kamala protested loud and clear:

“They’re not gonna pin this on me,” she bellowed.

Before She Was Biden’s “Border Czar,” Kamala Misappropriated
Millions in Federal Grants Meant To Combat Border Crimes
Washington Free Beacon ^ | July 30, 2024 | Alana Goodman

As district attorney for San Francisco, Kamala Harris misappropriated over $5 million in federal grants that were intended to combat border crimes, according to a 2010 Department of Justice audit.

Records show that Harris, while serving as chief prosecutor of the sanctuary city from 2004 to 2011, requested millions of dollars from the Department of Justice’s Southwest Border Prosecution Initiative. The program reimburses local prosecutors for handling “illegal immigration and drug and alien smuggling cases” referred to them by federal authorities.

But a DOJ inspector general audit report found that none of the cases that Harris’s office filed for reimbursement were eligible under the program. The city was forced to pay back the improper funding claims.

The report suggests that Harris has struggled to manage border crime issues dating back to the early days of her political career.

Harris, who serves as the point person for Biden’s migrant policies as vice president, has faced criticism from Republicans for failing to slow the surge in illegal immigration and border crime.

“I think she’s been consistent throughout her political career, whether she was D.A., a California attorney general, a senator,” said Ira Mehlman, media director for the Federation for American Immigration Reform. “Her entire record was about not enforcing immigration laws, [and] making sure that the people who violate those laws are not prosecuted or removed in any way.”

Jon Feere, a former Immigrations and Customs Enforcement official and investigator at the Center for Immigration Studies, said there has “not been any initiative by Kamala Harris, the border czar, to discourage illegal immigration or stop the fallout from open borders, going back to her time as district attorney.”

“She doesn’t see a problem with victimization, and thinks that the policies are more important than any harm to American citizens,” he said.

It’s easier to breach bases, or just go unnoticed when you are properly attired. We were warned more than 40 years ago about leaving unarrended uniforms when we did our laundry. A couple of Central American men were caught walking on base because their “uniforms” had the old unsubdued insignia on them.

C'mon, Mikey. You've got to be pulling our legs. Or are you just plain nuts?

Did you NOT read "Hamdan had crossed into the country illegally in April 2024 and Dabous had overstayed his student visa and is subject to removal proceedings"

Did you NOT read May 22, 2024 in NY Post: "...the two men approached Fuller Road Gate of the Marine base, were stopped for screening, and attempted to RAM their way in but were stopped by military sentries." That they were driving a BOX TRUCK? That they lied and identified themselves as Amazon contractors delivering a package?

Yeah, it was just an innocent taco run, there's no elevated terrorist threat to the USA, and all those crossing the southern border are innocent refugees.
