Just because you buy a Scottish island does not mean you circumvent UK law/customs or jurisdiction the guy and his followers are not very bright.

If “Radical” Muslims begin buying up land within the UK and assert to living under their Sharia Law then it is just a matter of time before they build up an independent military force. Then the Island “hopping” begins.
This is a very bad precedent.
Do they plan on declaring their own sovereign country? You can’t do that just by buying land.
The main problem I see is that according to Google Maps, it’s only about 20 FEET away from the civilized world at its closest point.
They buy a little, have a population growth rate drastically higher than the surrounding natives, then start conquering and expanding

If it’s under sharia law, they will no doubt break a whole assortment of UK laws before then. Slavery, rapes, honor killings, kidnappings, etc. The question is, will the UK do anything about it?

The island looks unlivable. It is mostly barren with very few trees. If they build housing, there is no bridge or ferry to get there.
How will they survive with no electricity and running water? No toilets or sewage treatment to catch the waste. Sounds perfect for Islamist goat and sheep herders.

I have read that there is a place in the US where blacks are trying to live like their ancestors did in Africa. I would not be surprised if the moslems do the same for the US.
