a mundane explanation of what probably happened is that the production level required immense amounts of electricity and the city of Paris' electrical grid may have been affected by this.

It was probably all the athletes turning on their air conditioners at the same time.

Well I'll never get over she is 72 and he's 57....at 40 he was her 14 yr old student when they met - she left her husban and 3 kids to be with him. Today she would be in jail.
