Can he do this?

He can propose anything he wants. He can propose it until he is blue in the face. But nothing is going to happen.

Term limits for the federal judiciary would require a constitutional amendment. He'll need two thirds of both Houses of Congress to propose it to the states for ratification. That support doesn't exist.

Then he needs three fourths of the states to ratify. That support doesn't exist.

Biden is just engaging in political masturbation.

More support out there than for the temperance movement.

Biden knows this won’t make it through Congress right now, but every time some new revelation comes out about corruption on the Supreme Court, Dems will make sure they remind everyone that “President Biden proposed an amendment to address this, but Republicans blocked it to protect the criminals.”

The ads write themselves.

If only the Founders had required approval by three-fourths of each house of Congress and four-fifths ofstates AND clearly requiredsaid approvals must all occur during the two years of a particular Congress,we might have avoided some bad admendments.

Or as a lame duck he can propose anything without political ramification. Look for this to bring out dem voters. The target audience is the young skulls full of mush to quote a legend. Biden has a bit of sympathy vote. The youngsters will eat it up
