Many people thought he was wasting his time in Wisconsin in 2016 considering he lost the state in the GOP primary to Cruz by double digits, and no Republican had won there since Reagan in 1984. I think Trump and his team have a little bit more knowledge of the political leanings in all fifty states than a bunch of keyboard political analysts!

True, they are wasting their time. Suburban women in Minnesota are supporting Kamala by 2:1 and with JD Vance on the ticket we can’t change that. Picking Vance is an unforced error. We can only Hope Kamala makes unforced errors as well.

I think we need to see how this plays out over the next few months. Trump was guided by Don Jr in this pick, Vance helps with the base, where Trump didn't need help, and may help with the Rust Belt and upper midwest (Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, and maybe Minnesota), plus with veterans, workers, especially union.

It's early and we need to see if Vance helps or becomes another Palin. Either way, this is our ticket.

And pearl clutching or now, we should have an open discussion, share ideas, and not be an echo chamber. Let people talk!

Agree, Vance will help out in the rust belt. For some reason people in the rust belt related to ‘Scranton Joe.’ I highly doubt Harris will. Need to win just one rust belt state.

Fox is report that the line started at 2 p.m. YESTERDAY and there were 75 in line at 3 a.m. The place only holds 6,000 so I guess early is best, but that is extreme!

JD Vance is in Reno next week, I'll go two hours early and hope for the best. The location is scalable up to 36,100, though I figure they'll break out a smaller area for 3,000-5,000 people.

I think it is very helpful to us Conservatives that are surrounded by liberals to go to an event that is crowded with others like us. We are not alone.

Also - folks from the Dakotas can make it to St. Cloud easily enough. Also makes a point to all the rest in “fly-over country”.
