The high shutter speed made the capture of the projectile possible. Capturing it at 30 frames a second was a little lucky. It was probably in the frame for 1/30 of a second, so getting the image close to the President Trump's head was fortuitous.

There may be other images which show the projectile further away. We do not know how much the image was cropped or if other, less dramatic images exist.
