Anumber of conservative women have criticized Donald Trump's running mate, Senator JD Vance, after his "childless cat ladies" comment reemerged.

I read it. “Vance said his remarks were directed at Democrats who can have children but choose not to.”
How does he know that Democrats (any pols) who don’t have kids are childless by choice? Has he seen their medical files?
If the primary issue is childlessness, and that makes people not care about the country, logically that should apply to not only Democrats, but Republicans, too.
And if the primary issue is childlessness, then ALL the childless care less about the country. That would pertain to ANY who don’t have kids, whether by choice or nature.
He talks about childless cat ladies, and throws Buttigieg into the mix.
Overall, the things he said don’t seem like well-thought-out, and logical, statements.
This will be a big deal for a few days, and then it will pass, like any other news story. Doubtful that it’ll change any person’s mind one way or another. (I wonder what’s going through Trump’s minds now. Is he saying, “ruh-roh”?)
Sarah Sanders would’ve been an excellent choice, IMO, and FWIW — which is not much in the whole scheme of things.

That being said, it was not Vance's best moment. There are a lot of Republican men like myself who are happily child free.

there are so many folk on this site that condemn women that don’t have kids as selfish and lazy, and then come to find out they never had kids themselves when it was their time.
Women don’t have to have kids to be worthy of existing.
That was a stupid comment for JD to make. He should expect pushback.

They are attacking a strawman. Vance was commenting on those who chose not to have kids, not those who cannot because of medical reasons.
Those who believe America is too racist to bring a child into this world deserve the criticism.
