But that doesn’t acknowledge or deal with the political reality that an Indian-American female will be given a pass in a way that Vance will not. We are living in an age of an obvious double standard. It’s a fact- there is a war on heterosexual, white males. Eventually, like everything else, it will come to an end. It, also, certainly needs to be addressed & fought against. But going into an election knowing that their main line of attack will be gender & race & painting Trump as an evil, white male & having no real strategy to combat it has been the problem the last few election cycles.
Sometimes I feel like we only want to consider election strategy that deals in the way things ought to be in a better world (i.e. identity politics, double standards & political correctness shouldn’t exist & being hetero, white & male isn’t bad or evil- all of which is verifiable true). But you aren’t running a campaign in a perfect world, you are running it in a world of double standards, political correctness & liberal media bias. Not taking each of those things into account, insulating yourself from attacks you know are coming & planning ahead for what you know is coming is politically deadly.
The smartest thing we could have done & what would have thrown them into chaos & really put the spotlight on them- would have been to call their bluff & pick somebody of color or a female. This is the first election year where I’m actually seeing huge numbers of black & hispanic people willing to vote GOP- particularly males. It would have been genius to capitalize on thar, pick a conservative black, Hispanic or female VP, balanced our ticket & given a visible counter to their charges of racism & sexusm. We all know that the left would attack them racially or on gender for not voting the way they have been trained to. This would have opened up the ability to put them on the defensive on these issue. The optics would have been amazing & we would be beating them at their own game. It also would have pulled more votes in from those communities seeing themselves represented in the conservative movement.
For whatever reason, we back away from knocking them off of their game. We choose the same exact thing & it doesn’t do us any good. It seems more or less like maybe a lot of us just want to stick with what we know & the narrative never changes & lately we are losing because of it.
You want to know something funny about your statement. When they did an autopsy of 2020 and where Trump underperformed…white working class voters. He got the most minority votes of any gop candidate in 60 years since Richard Nixon.
What cost him PA and Michigan and Wisconsin was “Scranton Joe” appealing to just enough of them to swing the election. That is what JD Vance was taken for cause he’s a small town kid from Ohio who made it through Yale.
JD was picked for a certain voter demographic that cost Trump 2020 and it was basically for voters in football terms Big Ten country.

My late wife and I wanted children but surgery ended that in her twenties. A lot of people like us might think Vance was insulting us. I’m sure he meant the kooky women in feminist marches. But now he’ll have to explain this for months.

Beverly Hallberg, the president of District Media Group and a Fox News contributor, wrote on X: “I’m childless on earth, but I have a baby in heaven due to an ectopic pregnancy. Not all women who don’t have children are childless by choice. It adds insult to injury, to put it mildly, when these comments are said.”
IMO true conservative women wouldn’t be hyper sensitive. Many women can’t have children and it’s God’s plan for them not to.
Why science thinks it’s better than God or women think they are incomplete without actually birthing a child speaks to people choosing or wishing to be outside of God’s original plan for them. Proceed with caution.
As a childless married woman (who has a dog, not cats), I was not offended. If, indeed, conservative women were offended (I doubt it), they need to suck it up and stay unified. Infighting will cost us.
Actually, it’s about getting the truth out. Having direct truth platforms against the old television media, and into public education. A propaganda war. Communicating to others the slants, the biases. Getting others to watch/listen/read outlets as is referenced in this site.
This is the real war now.
Why they can’t stand the rallies, and edit the rallies, and the convention on their outlets.
Trump won with P_n_e as his running mate. (Recall Palin was once a VP candidate)
It’s about having faith, standing, strategy, and priorities. #1 is the border invasion right now, #2 being able to both own and afford a home for ALL, not distractions.
The platform is to FOCUS, on OUR priorities
Showing, demonstrating to others that they can have RELIEF.

“It will be great having gas down to 1.80 again, won’t it? “
“Hey, the truckers will pay less and lower your grocery bill”
“Did you see ________, at the convention?”
“Oh, we watch _____, for the full message and get the complete picture”
“I see where Trump was endorsed by _____”
“I’m a “Mugwump”, which is why I’m for Trump.
“I’m a “Mugwump, which is why I like Vance on the winning ticket”
“I really like Ben Carson when Trump picked him”
(Focusing on other picks-— Cabinet for example”)
“Hey, that factory on the go during Trump, with him back, home prices around here should fall again”
“We get our news from _____, easier than television, and we get comments from regular folks all across the country”
“We actually, “play ball” instead of watching it” “Hey come out and join us for ____(nine) Saturday”
What he said was the truth and now the mainstream media is trying to pull the politically correct BS on him

I don’t completely disagree. The difference being that he was running against Scranton Joe - Mr phony working class Midwestern blah blah blah competing for those v I tes. That is not Kamala! Trumps got that locked up. Problem is he already appeals to that demographic. He needs more than just that to win. Pick another demo to expand things. Think. Outside. The. Box. 😉
I like hime but JD is a drag on the ticket. Two fire brands aren’t needed and Trump does it much better. Tulsi Gabbard was my choice.
When I see an attack “article” on conservatives or conservative ideas, I generally look to see if it’s one of the usual suspects.
When I see a screen name that I don’t recognize right off, I suspect it’s a n00b - when it’s not a n00b the very first thing I start doing is looking at the posting history. While I may not know all names, an odd one (not recognized right off) sticks out like a sore thumb.
I see all these posts and then 2020 shows up - then I realize that it’s a sleeper account.
Not only did they not say a single thing negative about Joe Biden nor a positive word about President Trump - they didn’t make ANY comment over that period.
BUT as soon as it’s active again, an attack on J.D. Vance and pimping for Ikki Haley. So.........
He is not criticizing working moms love their husbands and kids and put family before career.
Some people are quoted as being upset and say infertility. But I adopted hard to place kids.
As for IVF: The dirty little secret is that it doesn't work all the time, so they make lots of embryos and implant some and place the rest in the freezer. there are thousands of these frozen embryos left over, and since they deteriorate with time, most will die. If you believe life starts at conception, this is terrible.
But the other problem: IVF is lucrative for docs, One conference told us not to bother with stuff like checking ovulation or using diet or giving medicine to ovulate, but to go immediately to IVF because it is faster.
Often the infertility is from waiting too long to have a kid, but some of us had medical problems and surgery didn't work.
In other words, this is just the normal way the MSM is condemning people who want a family and have conservative values. You know: Propaganda.
