When the U.S. population exploded over the assassination attempt on Trump, they knew they had to work fast. So they held no investigation conferences, minimized the news and tried to disappear the photograph that will be hung in so many living rooms. Now they’re spreading the word that he wasn’t even hit with a bullet. Imagine such a crybaby making such a big deal out of a little piece of shrapnel.
And except for those of us who follow Trump with dedicated affection, it’s working. People are nodding, then turning the page and yawning. Assassination? What assassination?
