He reminded me of several elderly patients I’ve had- lost and disoriented, sad and occasionally angry. It’s alarming to realize the president is not in charge of the country, (though perhaps comforting) and we don’t know who IS in charge.
But the reason for this speech was not given- we still don’t know why he quit the race, after all, KJP said it’s not his health.
