The growing undocumented immigrant population in the U.S. will lower the deficit by nearly a trillion dollars over the next decade, according to a study by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO).

CBO’s projections are based on the net sum of economic activity generated, taxes paid and benefits allotted to the immigrant groups included in the study.

The nonpartisan agency estimates a net population increase of 8.7 million such immigrants between 2021 and 2026, averaging an increase of 1.7 million people per year above the pre-2020 average annual net immigration of 200,000.

CBO based its projections on the economic effects that surge group of 8.7 million people is expected to have between 2024 and 2034.

Ukraine needs conscripts so we could export them to Ukraine and make a nice profit.

Incorrect.

The primary reason these illegals are allowed to flood this country at this time is to attempt to increase the pool of voters that the left can use for fraud now, and actual dem voters in the future.

Meanwhile, I was standing behind a Spanish (only) speaking group at the grocery store and after they paid for their groceries with a card, the young lady manning the register said "you have $6,000 left on your card".

Is that how they are "helping our economy"?

I guess you are correct. I should have said any "sane" country.

Mexico receives billions in “remittances” (money sent home by migrants in the US).
<><>In 2023, Mexico received a record $63.3 billion in remittances, a 7.6% increase from 2022.
<><>The majority of remittances come from the United States, with over 96% in 2023,
<><>California and Texas being the primary sources.
<><>Other countries sendung remittances to Mexico: Canada, Ecuador, Guatemala, and Colombia.

If these people were truely a benefit..

There is NO WAY that a pass through country like Mexico would let them go to the US.

They would get those cash generating cows to stay in their country.

Undocumented aliens, without correct documents (AFAIK) can NOT LEGALLY work in the US.
If a person has no LEGAL job, how does the CBO say they are a positive?

They can’t LEGALLY work, without legal work, they don’t pay taxes. most get gov subsidies, Use Gov services, ER, Schools, etc..

When I lived in Germany Merkel made this exact same claim. She unleashed the flood gates to bring in every violent, illeterate, African and middle east Muslim from every s hole across the world. 95% (if not higher) are ALL on welfare and will never have to work a day in their lives and neither will their offspring, of which they are breeding like rabbits. The 5% that actually have jobs work for government or NGOs making sure the gravy train of welfare keeps coming. It is the same here. They collect welfare, they get their grappling hook babies who enable the rest of their family to climb over the fence and get on welfare.

Didn’t trump have some plan to open up federal lands (USFS, BLM*, etc) for constructing new cities? One thing l like about him is he sees these other possibilities the other side apparently doesn’t even consider.

1 trillion dollars over ten years for 8.7 million additional illegals. That means each one will be a net profit for the government of about $11,500 per year? How many will pay that much in taxes, much less the difference between the taxes and incremental expenses?

Oh yes, of course. Because... the Cloward-Piven strategy of the Marxists, now well underway, was always going to “boost the economy, lower the deficit” (as if they give a damn about the deficit, and benefit any nation that it’s inflicted upon. Riight! They really do think we’re that stupid.

And more women and girls will be raped and murdered by these slimeballs. But what the heck, at least the economy will improve.

Yup Total BS. Does the CBO just ignore the fact that these illegals are being fed huge sums of money right now while many of them commit crimes on our society.

We don’t have years left anyways. We are up against the wall as far as the deficit is concerned. We are going belly up very soon.

…While they increase food prices, housing prices, the cost of medical care, the availability of medical care, the cost of myriad insurances from auto to labor to liability, the cost of incarceration and on and on and on…

will lower the deficit. The CBO members’ collective personal deficit. Not the national deficit.
