No surprise since President Trump cannot trust the Secret Service.

Agreed—classic Deep State assassination attempt—a miracle it failed.

Maybe not. The one way to make something more desirable is to restrict the amount of people who can see it.

Watch him get refused for large indoor venues due “ security concerns and potential violence.”

Because trump knew they are settings things up for another attempt but this time they could say “ we told you so now it’s your fault “

Wouldn’t it just be better to ban teleprompters? That would make Mikey Steele and Little Keith Olbermann happy.

So instead of 50 or 100 k. Looking at 5 to 10 k in most indoor venues.
Thats not a win.

I wouldn’t count this as a win by the Deep State. Trump can easily afford to hold rallies in huge indoor stadiums, and the size of his crowds will be even more obvious. Not to mention there are always huge overflow crowds outside. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Trump manages to fill at least one big NFL stadium before the election.

Rallies are not that important for Trump any more, frankly. He already has support of nearly 100% of his base, and his base is 100% fired up. This was not the case in 2016, and rallies helped. They are of a diminishing value now. I think he should do more targeted events and outreaches to the fringes of his coalition, such as the Bronx bodega visit. As return on investment, those are far more valuable than just another rally in a deep red county.

Can’t really trust the CIA, FBI, Secret Service. Yea, I’d be pretty hesitant too. I’d be hiring my own independent contractors.
