My two cents...he suffered a nervous breakdown/panic attack. Also COVID. I believe his doctor, but don’t think he’s telling the whole story.

Democrat leaders have been ruthless in forcing him to step down. Imagine the sense of betrayal and alienation, as well as intense anger, he must feel. Granted, he brought this upon himself.
