There hasn’t been remotely enough time to poll her approve/disapprove levels with Trump. There’s simply too much noise in the polls and news cycles right now.
It’ll take at least a week or two to get accurate polling on anything relating to the election now.
The 2% Trump lead has been sticky all year.
It wasn’t a lead over Biden. It wasn’t a Democrat personality lead at all. It was a rejection of elitism, the Border policies and inflation.
It’s not tax and spend. Independents dominate the electorate and they don’t care about that because they have watched debt go up regardless of party.
Independents care about the Swamp — elitism.
It’s almost impossible to see a 4% Harris lead because Independents dominate and she has no new policies to move the needle.
But you WILL see an occasional Harris poll with a lead or 1 or 2%, because you see that right now with Biden.
They have to lead by nationally by 4% to edge the battlegrounds. They already have enormous Calif, NY and IL leads — and those get them to -2% vs Trump.
The only place to get votes is with Independents, and that will require her to stand up and reject all border policies she has orchestrated. Not going to happen.
There is, of course, one way to have a high probability of winning. Have the next attempt on Trump succeed.
