US Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle confirmed that her agency denied numerous requests for reinforcement of Republic Presidential Candidate Donald Trump’s security before the recent assassination attempt.
Speaking before the US House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, she was asked if the reports that the Secret Service denied numerous requests to reinforce Trump’s security, she claimed that there are cases, when "alternative means" are available to neutralize such threats or such risk. She refused to specify how many such requests were denied.

Anyone can be assassinated if the perp isn’t stupid, is patient, and is willing to die.

Despite the fact that everyone, including Trump regular event attendees, have made comments that this event was far under staffed and lacked basic resources compared to other Trump campaign events.
Yet Cheatle explicitly stated that no requests were made for adequate resources comparable to previous events for this particular event which coincidentally was the one where there was a successful assassination attempt on President Trump's life.
Why was this particular event so totally messed up - perhaps by design?
The hearings will go in a typical spin circle. The media won’t cover it and the Republicans will get nowhere.

Then after 9/11 diplomatic outpost attack that year, he died after vicious torture.
I recall reading the chilling report put out by Stevens and his security team waiting for help at the US Embassy that night, while sneaking the civilians in their charge to safety.
