Inside Biden’s unprecedented exit from the presidential race

Rehoboth Beach, Delaware CNN —

In the end, President Joe Biden exited the political stage in isolation.

After weeks of fighting for his political life – insisting he wasn’t going anywhere following a disastrous debate performance – the president’s about-face did not come in an Oval Office address or a speech on the campaign trail. Instead, it came in letter posted to social media as he recovered from Covid-19 at his beach house in Delaware.

It was a low-key way to reveal one of the most historic decisions in modern American politics, but time was not on Biden’s side to reach a decision or make an announcement. Never before has a president left a reelection race this close to Election Day – and for 24 days it seemed as if he were stubbornly planning to ride out the storm that followed the June 27 CNN debate in Atlanta.

He spent the three weeks after the debate repeating that he was staying in the race against former President Donald Trump. The president dug in. He insisted he could beat Trump. His inner circle shrank to his closest aides and family. He was forced to retreat to Delaware, where he reached a decision in the last day-and-a-half, finally conceding that a man loyal to the Democratic Party for more than a half-century was seen as a drag on the ticket.

But both served more than one four year term.

Johnson was president for five years and only elected once, so he was constitutionally eligible to seek re-election and serve another term (22nd Amendment: 10 years max). Truman was not eligible.

Truman was eligible. The 22nd Amendment had a grandfather clause.

“Unprecedented exit” (CNN headline) is incorrect. LBJ and Truman both declined to run as incumbent. Unusual? Yes.

No, Joe Biden will not not speak in public again. Not because of his assigned Joevid infection, but because the democrat party cannot trust Joe Biden to stick with the script and say something about continuing to campaign, about continuing to be President in 2025, 2026.

No, most certainly not dead. Joe Biden as a dead (dying at least) man is what they want (and need) legitimize Harris into office as “the FirstvBlack Women President” and then run her under the protective Aegis of “running for reelection “.

If dead, or medically dying, they could honor and promote his resignation while spewing “he sacrificed his life and his health for the good of the country” nonsense. (They will do that anyway, now that the democrats have their marching orders and fund-raising has resumed.)

No. They MUST KEEP HIM SILENCED though. They cannot trust him live on camera. He MUST BE isolated from view. And, Joevid-24 is merely a convenient excuse. Their Covid boogie man has been repeated so often by their democrat minions that now the democrat government believe it themselves.

I’m waiting for Jill to start kneecapping Kamala with news leaks of her behind the scenes incompetence. We already know the public ones.
