President Biden's announcement that he was abandoning his reelection bid was just hours old, but Bill and Hillary Clinton wasted no time in giving their full support for Vice President Kamala Harris as his replacement.
Their lengthy post lauded Biden for his supposed achievements—even as his approval ratings are in the cellar, inflation is harming the average Americans, and untold numbers of illegal aliens are streaming across our border. They argue that America’s future depends on Kamala getting elected:
“President Biden has capped his extraordinary career of service with a Presidency that has lifted America out of an unprecedented pandemic, created millions of new jobs, rebuilt a battered economy, strengthened our democracy, and restored our standing in the world. By any measure, he has advanced our founders’ charge to build a more perfect union and his own stated goal of restoring the soul of our nation. We join millions of Americans in thanking President Biden for all he has accomplished, standing up for America time and again, with his North Star always being what’s best for the country. We are honored to join the President in endorsing Vice President Harris and will do whatever we can to support her. We’ve lived through many ups and downs, but nothing has made us more worried for our country than the threat posed by a second Trump term. He has promised to be a dictator on day one, and the recent ruling by his servile Supreme Court will only embolden him to further shred the Constitution. Now is the time to support Kamala Harris and fight with everything we’ve got to elect her. America’s future depends on it.”
It was only recently that Hillary’s name was being floated as a possibility.

Meanwhile, as I wrote earlier Sunday, Kamala’s problems as a candidate are legion:
The problem for Warren—and for Harris—is that Kamala is a deeply unpopular politician and her chances of winning the presidency are slim. If Kamala is the Democrat nominee come August, Donald Trump would have to be pleased. He would likely eviscerate her in a debate and would constantly remind her that she helped one of the biggest coverups of all time, namely, helping hide the fact that a sitting president was mentally compromised.
The Clintons seem largely irrelevant at this point, desperately trying to make headlines. It's doubtful that their endorsement is going to excite many Americans other than die-hard Democrats.

Two persons identifying as female won’t work. For the sake of diversity, they need a trans person. Not even a gay or lesbian will work, they’re too common to qualify on the DEI aggrievement scale.
Then Hillary will identify as lesbian or male. That should do it.
I hope that President Trump will learn from the mistakes of Richard Nixon. When Nixon won against the anointed Hubert Humprhrey, he assumed that everyone in his administration was a Republican and friend. They were not. He needs to have a very suspicious nature...

Assuming it’s Harris we’re quite lucky biden picked her in 2020. If it was someone who came off more seriously I’d be a lot more concerned. That’s ASSUMING it’s harris.
Hillary will be in her cabinet.
Dems, and the Clintons, have no choice really. Trump is already pulling blacks away from Dems. If Dems kick Harris to the curb in favor of a white man or woman, they’re in even more trouble with blacks. The only alternative to Harris is Michelle Obama, but she’s never given any indication she wants the job.
The real question is: is Tickle Me Elmo qualified to be VP.
The Clintons are all in on a lot things. Very busy these last few weeks.
She is the 2024 sacrificial lamb and every dem knows it.
Did she have to put on the kneepads to get the endorsement of James Clyburn of SC?
