…According to the Democratic National Committee rules, the party's delegates would still meet as scheduled for a virtual roll call to vote for who they think should be the nominee.
What If Democrats Don't Choose Harris?
Because Harris wouldn't just immediately become the nominee, there's a chance that another candidate is picked.
The Democratic Party's delegates could choose another candidate that they see as giving the party a better chance against Trump in November.
Other high-profile Democrats floated as possibly stronger alternatives to Harris include California Governor Gavin Newsom and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. But they have said that they would not run for the Oval Office in 2024.
What If There's a Contested Convention? There is also a possibility that no candidate wins a majority on the roll call. If this happens, more than 700 "superdelegates" will also vote in a subsequent ballot. The process would continue until a candidate wins a simple majority.
"Superdelegates" consist of the senior party leaders and elected officials who automatically become delegates to the convention based on their positions. They are not allowed to vote on the first ballot, per DNC rules, but can vote on subsequent ballots.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
Pundits believe, but do not know, that Harris can put out her croupier’s rake to pull in all the campaign donation money for herself.
What if some set up lawsuits as “to the appropriate candidate” may not apply automatically to her after the donor gave to Joseph R. Biden.
Probably hers to keep but not absolutely certain.
It's too much to hope that the Biden2024 lawn signs and bumperstickers will come down soon. Even today I still see BETO bumberstickers on cars that are given a wide berth.
This “virtual roll call” is supposed to start soon, like next week isn’t it? Not much turn-around time for the rat liner.
Hillary
About 4,000 Democratic delegates, meeting in Chicago from Aug. 19-22, will pick the Democratic Party’s nominee. Most are committed to Biden. After his abrupt announcement, they are not bound by any law or party rules to back anyone.
Biden was the party’s presumptive nominee, but he has no direct power over choosing the delegates’ formal nominee.
Harris needs the support of 1,969 of the 3,936 Democratic delegates to secure her nomination at the August convention.
There is no way, given the split in the Party, that a Jew gets the Democrat nomination (unless the polling is so bad he becomes the sacrificial lamb).
I seem to remember there being a dead guy on a Congressional ballot(Missouri, I think). He couldn’t be replaced because of the state’s election law.
This is almost the same thing, isn’t it?
I thought of that as well. Then I remembered that the Democrat party has no problem with Jew hating Jews. See Bernie Sanders.
Who will it be? Trudeau or Zelensky?
Hillary will be working the system.
So will Pelosi for her nephew, Newsome.
I hope that all this gets decided at the convention after a lot of extended catfights.
Michigander here. I do not Trust Whitmer saying she’s not running. I’m terrified she will be the pick.
Bernie is a Marxist and de-racinated Jew. He would sell Israel down the river if it were to his advantage. He would embrace the Dearborn/Minneapolis cabal without a second thought.

I continue to read that the 2024 Democrat nomination process will be virtual, with the delegates sitting at home participating in a Zoom conference.
That was reported on some major news sites. Will it change now that Mr Potato Head is out?
It is probably very chaotic in Ukraine about now.
Zelensky is crapping himself about now.
“As the first Black woman in the office”... “
Why not first Indian?

If she took a ‘23 and Me’ genetics test her Indian inheritance percentage would dwarf her African percentage which would be negligible.
I would expect a lot of the dimrat delegates will make the trip to Chicago. Lots of good food, drinks, hookers and blow. Stapes of the dimrat party.
Watch, hers will be exponentially worse. She ain’t making it to election day and IF she does, it’s going to be a slaughter, electorally speaking.
I still say brokered convention and all hell is gonna break loose in Chicago.
Democratic Party “Democracy” In Action:
Biden had 3,850 pledged delegates, however those delegates can choose whomever they want now that the president is out of the race, and candidates vying for the presidency need a minimum of 300 delegates’ signatures to be considered among as a presidential candidate among the delegates.
Those “pledged” delegates will be the first to vote on a nominee, which requires a majority to choose their next candidate. However, if there’s no clear majority, “superdelegates” – largely leaders of the party and lawmakers, among others – will vote in subsequent rounds until the majority of the party rallies around one person.

I don’t disagree. The only requirement to be a Jew is to pop out of a Jewish womb. If you don’t do that, you can convert but few do.
