Will there be a replacement for her before the election? Was her seat up for election?

All seats in the House are up for reelection every two years.

Will there be a replacement for her before the election? According to Texas election statutes, the special election to fill the vacancy would be held on the general election in November when her seat would have been up for reelection anyway.
The seat will remain vacant until then. Republicans currently have an 8-seat majority in the House, which includes three vacancies (two Democrat and one Republican).
