The Hill is citing “well-connected Democratic Party insiders” in reporting that Beshear is among several “serious” candidates to be considered for the vice president nominee if President Biden withdraws from the race.

The Hill reports his name is on a shortlist to be Kamala Harris’s vice presidential pick.

Other names mentioned include Arizona Senator Mark Kelly and North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper.

In recent days, there have been an increasing number of calls from major Democratic Party officials for President Biden to withdraw from the race. Despite these calls, Biden has remained adamant that he is staying in the campaign.

I think Beshear could be formidable. As to Shapiro, let’s just say lots of folks in the party aren’t that fond of members of the tribe

“He’s one of the few competent Dems that doesn’t prioritize the wingnuts in his party. “

Beshear’s a pretty boy in an empty monkey suit. He has no power to “prioritize” a damn thing in Kentucky. The GOP holds a 31-7 edge in the state Senate and an 80-20 margin in the state House.

He’s an impotent figurehead who got elected the first time because suburban squishes turned on the former Governor when he stood up to the National Association Of Teacher-Groomers.

He got re-elected because GOP candidate Daniel Cameron ran an invisible campaign, was not effective as state Attorney General, and lost some White rural counties because of subtle racism.

Andy Beshear is a poseur and about as much of a “moderate” as Joe Biden is, LOL. But he can read the teleprompter better and have his “moderate” lies reported by the liberal media as if they are truths, which of course is a benefit which accrues to every Democrat.

Unfortunately Beshear is not a nobody...he’s going to be trouble nationally - if not this election cycle, a future one. It was a huge mistake for the conservative mediasphere to not pay attention to the race last year and get him out - which was very doable. His opponent was grossly underfunded while he was flush with tens of millions of dollars - he won 53-47...obviously winnable if the Republican had been able to wage a full campaign, define himself vs. being defined by Beshear, and hold Beshear accountable for his far-Left positions of the issues.

Beshear is as far Left as they come. He doesn’t have to “embrace” anything.

Unfortunately not as impotent as you might think - he appoints the members of regulatory boards all on his own and the legislature cannot all itself into session. And he appoints Leftists to do this stuff - promoting DEI type stuff across the board. He's a far Leftist...just not able to implement as much of his agenda as he would like given he has zero influence over the legislature and they override all of his vetoes.

He not only poses with and supports drag queens - he even posed with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and says he would do it again. He is no moderate - he's as Left as they come - across the board.

Beshear is a sack of Shiite masquerading as a moderate. It is sad to see so many idiots in what should be a solid red state. Kentucky will still be called for Trump with 5% of the votes counted.

They better figure this out quick.

If I were Biden and wanted to retire, I would pre-emptively pardon Hunter in the tax evasion case. Unlike Jack Smith, Weiss, prosecutor in that case, was confirmed as a US Attorney. If Joe does not resign, he has more time for pardons.

Nope. I'll single-handedly end this speculation right now.

His daddy Stephen Beshear was one of the most corrupt goobernors of the last century. If Bevin hadn't flaked out, he would have nailed both father and son in grift.

Fmr. Gov. Steve Beshear responds to corruption allegations

On April 19, Bevin said Steve Beshear’s administration forced state employees to make political contributions, to awarding no-bid contracts to friends and mishandling workers compensation claims. Bevin has launched an investigation into these allegations.

Bevin's investigation of Beshear administration scores a win in court

FRANKFORT — In a ruling advancing an investigation of former Gov. Steve Beshear's administration, the Kentucky court of appeals decided Thursday that Gov. Matt Bevin's finance cabinet secretary can serve a subpoena on a former Beshear administration official.

The ruling would allow Secretary William Landrum to subpoena Frank Lassiter for both testimony and documents related to the investigation of contracts awarded to a computer company that Lassiter went to work for after leaving the Beshear administration."

Lil Andy didn't fall far from the goober tree of absolute corruption and hillbilly grift.

Ex-Kentucky official testifies in lobbyist’s bribery trial

"A former cabinet secretary in Democratic Gov. Steve Beshear's administration says the governor's chief of staff pressured him to award a lucrative state contract to a company that had helped him raise money"

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — "In 2016, Kentucky’s No. 2 law enforcement official gave a lobbyist a ride to his car.

Tim Longmeyer had known Jim Sullivan for years, back when Longmeyer was the secretary of the Personnel Cabinet under former Democratic Gov. Steve Beshear. When offered the ride, Longmeyer was the deputy attorney general under Beshear’s son, Andy Beshear. Sullivan was a lobbyist looking to land a lucrative contract for some of his clients.

“Let me put something right down there,” Sullivan told Longmeyer as he placed $1,000 in cash in a cup holder. “I’ll play the game.”

Longmeyer is serving a prison sentence of five years and eight months at a federal facility in Alabama for his role in accepting bribes related to Kentucky’s health insurance plan. He returned to Kentucky on Wednesday to testify against Sullivan, who faces four counts of bribery in a separate case."

But here's the one that will resonate. Beshear's kid played tour baseball, and Lil Andy got caught going maskless at the peak of his mask terror reign in mid-2020.

Promptly had a public hissy fit and withdrew the kid from baseball, but then covered it up by accusing the baseball players and coaches of not wearing masks.

The whole cover-up was a fugly lie. He got caught and feared it would hinder his re-election. Posting this everywhere on Twotter in 2020 (not my pic, btw) got me banned. Now that banning is a badge of honor.

If the neomarxists are stupid enough to manuever this fraud into a VP run, they're toast.
