The Secret Service is facing mounting pressure to explain how a 20-year-old would-be assassin climbed on top of a roof and fired shots at former President Donald Trump without authorities noticing.
Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino is demanding answers from the agency, revealing troubling details about the breach of security that left Trump injured.
Bongino, who spent 12 years working in the Secret Service under President George W. Bush and President Obama, pointed out obvious mistakes that could have changed the trajectory of the country forever.
He pointed to three issues plaguing the Secret Service that resulted in a would-be assassination of one of the most high-profile public figures in the country.
One, Bongino wrote in an op-ed, is the lack of manpower and security equipment.

Indeed. Apparently there is not one person - NOT ONE! - in Washington who is willing to take responsibility for anything.
If that is truly the case, i hope their sins will find them out, exposing the whole corrupt lot of them- it would be really nice if true justice racked up win after win over the demon driven left who up till now have been protected by corrupt media, corrupt courts and social media and antifa and blm, and corrupt systems in place to protect their criminal acts. We are so used to watching blatant obvious c4imes being com ited by the ,eft, only to watch them walk away scott free time after time, and watching the right being falsely convicted over and over.
Probably not paid. Probably does not know that he was nudged. I bet it comes to light eventually that he “had contact with a retired FBI/CIA officer” a month or so ago. Many of the school shooters have had that pop up weeks or months after their acts.
If you have seen the photo of the dead shooter on the roof with three or four law enforcement officers standing around the body, I'd be asking if it was such an issue because of the slope, how did you guys get up there. Did you feel you were in danger of falling off the roof or getting injured when up there?
As the President laid it out in his speech last night, the events in the book “Atlas Shrugged” leading up to the Strike are the same events happening in front of our eyes. Incompetence, no one takes responsibility, massive abuse hurled at producers like Trump who is Atlas carrying the world on his shoulders. He’s not the type to shrug. So he’s being ‘pushed’ as Schumer gloated, “Every which way til Sunday.”
You know, I wouldn’t care if that person came out and said “Dan Bongino is wrong about XYZ, and here is why...”
Everyone is allowed to look at an issue and analyze it on their own and opine on it.
In this case the Freeper in question first called Bongino a clown, an ad hominem attack and nothing more. And then he called him a liar.
People are wrong all the time, at all levels, on important things, but that does not make them “liars”. It makes them “wrong”.
I listen to Dan Bongino nearly every day. And I don’t agree with him on everything. But I respect his opinions, because it is clear to me he thinks them through, and doesn’t blather on and shoot from the hip.
But calling someone a liar when they may be simply wrong is a contemptuous thing, it insinuates intent to mislead, when in Bongino’s case, it was nothing of the sort.
This fat-assed keyboard warrior had his panties in a twist about the early narrative on the George Floyd death, where he said the Secret Service and the NYPD when he was there didn’t authorize or teach that restraining hold, which may or may not be true. But to say Bongino was “lying” when he said that ticked me off.
Yes. I actually am preferring Bongino over War Room now.
Both he and Bannon have contacts “on the inside”, in different areas of expertise, that make their shows informational and interesting. Bongino’s show is high energy and far paced.
The FReeper who has been so negative to my posts (don’t recall his name) does call DB a liar. (How does he know?) And that DB covers for the Deep State (he actually does the opposite). It dances on the edge of unhinged. Kind of funny, really.
FYI to ALL:
Tom Connelly....(Pres. Ceo of The Conelly Group) well versed in protecting political candidates said this was the ‘FOURTH” Assisination Attempt on Pres. Trump in the last 5 months...the other three are not known to the public......

PROBABLY IN NUMERICAL ORDER WITH BIDEN ACCOUNTS AROUND THE WORLD.
Various problems were encountered by the protective detail ladies at Trump’s Butler rally. One of the glaring issues was the disparity of size and physical capabilities between the protective detail members. Given that the Secret Service is committed to DEI, a solution is to staff the women’s positions with trans females. With trans individuals you can meet the one third women DEI goal and simultaneously have the benefit of the physicality and size required for the job.
Good luck with that, without his passwords.
Lots of us have email services based in foreign countries. Some of them are very popular and offer encryption.
There is also Tutanota, Countermail, Runbox and others. Many people have them simply because they are secure.
None will be. From the view of the SS, it was a success.
All agents went home safely. The shooter was killed, and the asset was saved.
Fascinating—obviously we would like to know more about the three other attempts.
Ahh, thanks for explaining...
So the guy just tosses off that info at 2:00, with no follow-up?!
Oh yes.....I suspect Trump doesn’t want people to know those details either. He’s told us all along there’s been threats against his family as well.....
The “big picture” question is whether they have been bona fide “lone gunman” or more obvious “Deep State” attempts.
I suppose if the Trump team has evidence of Deep State attempts but needs to win in order to pursue prosecutions next year that would be a sound reason for keeping it on the down low.
