traveling hubby says tv stations in Sac say can’t do live video feeds - microsoft crash? streaming services crash? - any body know what is going on?

Yeah. I saw local TV station in LA saying something like that — couldn’t do news.

Also some stations are frozen. Don’t know if that’s related.

From what I’ve read, in Laymans terms, crowd strike, an antivirus/security vendor used by large corporations primarily, released a bad antivirus definition update.

If you were unlucky enough to be using their software on your servers or endpoints, and they were running when the update was pushed out, they basically got stuck in an infinite reboot/blue screen loop. This really had nothing to do with Microsoft, but the third-party security vendor if you weren’t running the software, but we’re running Microsoft systems, you were just fine.
