But, Crooks must have had an online account. It just hasn't been found, yet.
Cop experts can usually match word usage, syntax and so on to past letters and school papers. Also references only to himself versus fakes showing concern for others and so on. Books about Zodiac and others discuss this.
I would think that the new AI would be even more expert than that.
