CNN political commentator S.E. Cupp said Thursday that Democratic lawmakers were leaking their conversations with President Biden because they feel they can't get through to him about dropping out of the race.
"Democrats are so desperate to get through to Joe Biden and they’re not, that now they're leaking these private conversations as sort of an outside effort to triangulate and really force Joe Biden to acknowledge the realities of the state of his campaign. And unfortunately, I think his resistance does not look like it’s coming from a position of strength but a position of delusion," Cupp said.

I am seeing democrat commentators who are themselves coming from a place of delusion when talking about Trump. They draw such a terrifying caricature of him and the GOP, it truly appears that they are becoming paranoid.
They’re going to have to invoke the 25th amendment if they want to get Biden out of office and they simply don’t want to do that, and Jill knows it too. It will be an admission by the Democrats they knew of Biden’s cognitive decline for some time. They also don’t want Harris to take over the presidency, even for a brief time, because they would have no choice. but to make her the Democrat nominee. Jill holds all the cards and Democrats are getting more desperate by the day.
I’m not so sure its delusional. The only realistic option to replace him is Kamala. There is a very real chance that she will be as bad or worse than Biden. Why should he drop out if the alternative is bad or worse?
If and when he does quit, I’ll will love the disgusted look on Dr. Bag’s face.

I have to admit, watching this is hilarious. People with dementia often don’t realize it and won’t admit it, so watching the Dems try to convince him is hilarious. It would make for a funny SNL skit.
