The mounting pressure from several close friends and congressional leaders will persuade President Joe Biden to drop out of the presidential race as soon as this weekend, several top Democrats told Axios.
The outlet noted that privately, Biden “resigned to mounting pressure, bad polls, and untenable scrutiny making it impossible to continue his campaign,” a Democratic source said. Top leaders of the party, his friends, and donors believe that Biden does not have a shot at winning and “can’t change public perceptions of his age and acuity” (via Axios):

I have also noticed that I have seen no Biden ads on YouTube asking for donations since the Trump assassination attempt. I had been seeing these fairly frequently before that.
I don’t think the absence of ads is just related to the Trump incident though.

I think Kamala has a chance as a “fresh face” and “someone who is not Trump or Biden” as voters claim they wish they had.
Imagine the surges of adulation for her demigodlike qualities 24/7 by the media. Voters will have sympathy for Kamala who helped pick up the torch of saving democracy (Barf).
I have no use for Biden but its interesting how in leading Dem eyes he promptly went from one of the “best” Presidents to pond scum. Not one ounce of loyalty, total hypocrisy as they knew the condition he was in, their only concern is their party and their power; not one word how this clown is unable to be their Presidential nominee but he can continue to serve as President. Not one word about the health and safety of this country and its citizens.

Not solved is the mystery for the insider Dems:
Do they mean Biden will not seek the nomination (like LBJ) any longer, or worse, that Biden will stick around in office but Kamala will be the candidate. That means we still are in danger of nuclear war threat.
They are going to do it, they will surge in the polls, and Republicans have their work cut out for them.
I hope they stop talking about Biden tonight and talk about the democrat party.
