Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) on Thursday predicted Democrats will force President Biden to withdraw from the 2024 race and will nominate Vice President Harris or former first lady Michelle Obama to replace him at the top of the party’s ticket.
“I put the odds at about 80 percent [Democrats] dump [Biden], and if and when they dump him, I think their replacement nominee will be one of two people — it will either be Michelle Obama or it will be Kamala Harris,” Cruz said in an interview on Fox Business.
Recent polling has suggested Harris and Obama may each have a slight lead against Trump, further fueling speculation about their viability as potential candidates.
Other Democrats floated as potential replacements have included California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
Ten House Democrats have publicly called on Biden to drop out, while Sen. Peter Welch (D-Vt.) became the first Democratic senator to make the same call Wednesday night.

The Dems are screwed any way that they run for this election.
Biden has been asked/recommended/begged to quit. The DNC doesn’t have to nominate him.
1. Biden runs with limited Dem/DNC support and will very likely lose.
2. The DNC nominates Harris. The entire country knows that she’s a complete idiot. People only pretend to support her because she is a woman of color. Only complete idiots would dare vote for her. (Unfortunately, there are a lot of them)
3. The DNC nominates anyone else. The left will scream racism, sexism, etc, etc because the VP of the last 4 years has not been nominated, even if the replacement is Michelle Obama.
There’s no way out for the Democrats this election. I (wrongly) predicted that Biden wouldn’t serve out his first term, that the temptation for a woman of color to be President was too great. If I had been right, the Dems would be in a much better situation today.

Her running mate will be chosen for her. She won’t have a choice. The person will likely be another female or an openly gay man. Possibly a trans. It won’t be anything or anyone a person with firing brain cells would want in that position.
